Gianni's Trattoria

It was a working trip. This time i did not book the office driver. It would be a long trip to pick up somebody at other location. Waste my time.

So i asked my husband to go along. Told him weeks ago and asked him to plan some work trip on the same date. Haha. Clever i am. Then i planned to go some nice restaurant for a lunch without kids' disturbance. First i was to have lunch at Grill Bar. I chose this based on the ranking on tripadvisor. Too bad, it was closed on Tuesday. We only knew this when we were there. They should have some official website so that we can check before we go.

Then to have another restaurant nearby to go, i checked again tripadvisor. Ha.

So Gianni's Trattoria appeared to be another high-ranking restaurant.

They have some lunch set, which offered some meal at cheaper price. However, my husband and i chose from the menu. I ordered a lamb rack, while he was having grilled sea bass.

From the picture, you can tell that the lamb rack was presented very nicely. The taste was superb. The lamb was served with the egg plant and cucumber with some special sauce, while the lamb rack was topped with some baked cheese. You can only know the taste once you've experienced it. Definitely i will go back again for the lamb rack!

His sea bass was not alone, surrounded with various seafood including clams, squids and prawns. It was delicious too.

This of course comes with a price, and it was not cheap! the lamb rack priced at RM95 and the sea bass at the cost of RM65. We ordered one mushroom soup at RM18, mocha for me and capuccino for him. Total bil including tax is aRM240++.

Anyway, once in a while, we deserve some delegant meal. Scrumptious meal i would say. Definitely a next trip for it.

垃圾分类

终于马来西亚也有实施垃圾分类这事。

约十年前到过台湾，对于他们的垃圾分类感到很惊讶。原来还可以这么做。

听新闻说，日本早在1973年就实行。

这对于环保其实是很大的帮助。

也因为人们在对垃圾时要分类，那总会有一秒让你省思，你是不是丢了很多东西，加重地球的负担了？

不然之前的你，是不是随手就丢，统统都进垃圾桶就对了？

能再循环的垃圾要分类出来。

厨余也是，不然造成恶臭。

还有很多很细的方面，相信大家要看报纸读仔细了。

这一实行，一定是怨声载道，可以预见了。

人们对于改变，总是反抗。管他好不好，心理就是会反抗。

习惯了，就行了。

所以执行家要坚持，要持之于恒。

好的政策，不怕进行。

Disneyland

Since i was small, i knew that there were four disneyland in the world. Two in USA, one in Paris and one in Tokyo. Then when i grew up, they add in one more at Hong Kong. I thought the smallest one would be the one at Paris, then the Hong Kong be the one since its occurence.

Every kids dreamt of Disneyland. There are magic, fun, dream and happiness. At least that is what portrayed by the advertisement.

Then i was lucky to have the chance to go Disneyland Tokyo when i was 20 years old. One-day trip there. With mother's company fellows. It would be more fun and memorable if i was going with family, lover or friends. 

Next, the target would be the Disneyland at Florida, the biggest among all. Magic Kingdom, Disney's hollywood studios, Disney's animal kingdom... When is the day?

I would probably bring my kids to Hong Kong Disneyland first. They sure will like it.

唯我独升

最近很多股项都不是很漂亮。组合里的ECS却升了。原来7日他家的季报出了，盈利稍有上升。

在上个月第三次加股（在RM1.63)后，ECS已超越MAGNI成为组合里的老大。纸上盈利约有25%。下个月还会有股息进帐。真是太开心了。

希望这不会只是昙花一现。

公司执行者要加油啊。最好再获得什么代理权的。哈哈。

人生何烦

人生有很多烦恼。

工作多压力大也烦。
钱不够用也烦恼。

有多少个人能真正做到活在当下呢？

其实很多事要量力而为。一步一脚印向目标前进。
好高鹜远反而让自己提早停下脚步。

Mbo membership

There is not many cinemas in this town. Now it only left mbo cinemas located at Kluang mall. 

You can purchase movie ticket via their website. While you do this, you will need to register as their member. Since it is free, why not?

There are sure some little benefits of becoming their member. One of it be the birthday treat on your birthday month. However, only movie listed as asterisk (*) is eligible for redemption. I never manage to redeem this birthday free movie ticket because the movie listed is not known or those kind of unpopular one. You don't seem to want to waste the time on it. >.<

Another benefit is to collect point. Every RM1 spent would get you 10 points. And the minimum points to redeem something is 1000 points. Actually it is very easy to reach. You get to redeem single combo of popcorn plus drinks at 1000 points. Better than nothing, right?

What really makes me favor of this is the faster online ticketing. There was always a long queue especially during weekend. Why waste time there? Only a few clicks and it was done. You can collect your ticket at the special online redemption counter. They will always serve you first. No wait. 

Just be noted that every purchase on Wednesday will give you 5x points. How worth it is.

牛仔裤

年轻的时候总爱穿牛仔裤。

真的是不明白那时的自己怎么想的。

衣橱里虽然没很多衣服裤子，牛仔裤也只是两件。

可是躺在那边至少也有两年。

两年没穿长的牛仔裤了。

其实，牛仔裤一点都不舒服。

哈哈。

如果在冷天还可以御寒。

在我们这里，真的是一点都不好穿。

也有可能是现在稍微福相了一点。

穿起来稍紧了些，不是那么舒服了。

所以，没再穿了。

也没买，因为都知道不会穿的。

都穿短裤。

短裤随性，方便，舒服。

女儿才那么小，也不喜欢。

总是跟我说很紧。

算了，依她吧。

虽然牛仔裤穿起来是比较帅气好看。

应该都不会买牛仔裤了。

做什么最好赚

那天在车上问了老公，你们平常一场工可以赚多少钱。他们做建筑的，好像赚大钱酱，利润到底是多少？

扣到完，老板赚5%-10%酱。如果一场五百千的工，10%才50千。然后又不是一个月50千，是整场工的利润。那就是说那么多个月下来，可能八九个月，可能一年，也才那10%。如果五个月做完，也才赚十千一个月。十千一个月很多吗？他们是老板咧。而且还要看头看尾，时间都花在上面。（我觉得应该是不敢讲太多，10%也太少了。）

利润10%其实真的不是很多。

我就说，那我们卖药的比较好赚咧。平均来讲应该都有20%利润。那时平均来讲。有的profit margin较高，有的较低。我们也是花整天的时间，可是是在冷气房里。不会太辛苦啊。而且药都好贵，随随便便一个药可能就整百块。又不是只买一样药，一天里那么多人来买。都不错一下。

不过，好像卖吃的更划算。至少都翻倍赚。成本才多少？食物的成本很低的。只不过现在卖吃的好像都讲究装潢，那就要先投资一笔下去。不过在我们这里小地方，没有什么装潢也是OK的。而且怎样都会有生意。我看卖吃的都一定有生意的。还是卖吃的最好赚。

只不过，做老板都是要亲力亲为。 时间精力都花在上面。

那么，还是chain或franchise最好做。他们都有一个模式了。找着模式走，花高费请个能者帮忙打理，可是这个也只是打工，那份薪水，可是利润自己赚。多划算。

哈哈。难得有个那么有意思的对话。

Donation to Mercy Malaysia

Saw the pop up at Maybank.

The earthquake, the disaster at Nepal, the broken heart moment of many people. I always wondering where can i make a donation. Which one is a more trustworthy path? I really don't know. Nowadays, people cheat. Even the most 'branded' and 'wellknown' charity organization can still use big portion of the donation for their own use. We just can't trust. We make a donation, and we hope that the money can really reach those who need it.

Some through newspaper fund, some through those religion organization.

I guess i heard of Mercy somewhere. They are a team which will provided medical helps to the victims, victims of the natural disasters or of wars.

So glad that i see their banners on Maybank. I trust Maybank. LOL. And you can just donate through the "registered bill".

We just have to pray more. Pray for people, pray for peace, pray for the world.
