punctuality

i don't understand why ppl like to be late for everything. for appointment, for class, for date...
as a undergraduate in my university, i've experienced, or i've seen many late-comers present without guilty. u can never say anything about this 'lateness' of ppl. cos lecturers will be late, ur coursemate will be late. they just don't understand wat the punctuality means.
if the lecturers are late, then we're forced to stay at class doing nothing. maybe u're hardworking enuff to study notes. well, it's still a wasteness of our time. because the portion of time she/he's late, then he/she will replace our class at other slot, or prolong the scheduled time for the class. is it a benefit? it waste ppl's time for waiting for them~!! if the lecturer is late for 10 minutes, then he/she wastes 88's 5 minutes, tat's equal to 880 minutes!
if the coursemates are late, then they'll disturb the class. going in, making noise... can you all plz be punctual?
of course, be late for a short while, or u're not always the latecomers, once or twice, i can understand. cos life is so unexpected. but please don't make this as ur habit. it's a bad habit.
for friends... wat can i say? i really got this kind of friend. they're some kind of ppl memang will be late for everything. EVERYTHING, u noe~ then others have to tolerate their habit. usually i really can't stand it. and i won't be quiet like other ppl. no, other ppl will discuss this kind of habit behind of them. although i did discuss it, somekind of gossiping, i will straight ask them, why are u late? sure not too fierce or strict lah, maybe ask them nicely. but as the frequency getting high, i won't juz joke with them. i'll ask them sarcastically. am i bad? i don't think so.
if u know tat u're memang a ppl need to prepare/make up/get ready for a long time, pls do it earlier.
wat can i say about punctuality? i don't like to be late for anything. maybe once or twice. but tis is certainly not my habit. being late is quite embarassing.
so... do u noe how to write 'embarassing'?
