What website will you use to book the hotel?
Some will book the hotel directly through their official website. Some through the hotel booking website such as agoda, booking.com, asiarooms.com, expedia.com and many similar websites.
Based on my experience, the price would be most expensive if you book through their website. But there is some exceptional, so you better check out the official website before you book through other website.
Personally, i prefer agoda. You can accumulate points which can be redeemed later as a discount for your next hotel booking. I like it. Currently i've redeemed several times which the maximum that i've redeemed was RM161.
But the points will be expired the end of next year at the time of accumulation. So be aware.
Booking.com is another good website. You don't have to pay a single cent before you go.
Actually the hotel rate will be almost the same among these website. Sure you have to browse through to see any special promotion at any website.
I am a regular agoda customer. So i'll continue to collect the points for the future discount.
